Founded in 1978 by Dr. Peter Kenny, Northampton Area Pediatrics has been serving families in the Pioneer Valley for over 35 years. With two friendly locations, extensive office hours, and an excellent medical staff with seven pediatricians and three nurse practitioners, our practice provides robust, innovative, //and family-centric care to infants, children, and adolescents in western Massachusetts.
To help you get acquainted with our practice, we have provided you with important background information about our pediatricians, staff, office hours, appointment procedures, finance policies, maps, directions to our offices, and other useful information.
Our providers believe exceptional care is obtained when there is an on-going relationship between the doctor or nurse practitioner and the patient. We want to be lifelong partners in your child’s health. We achieve this goal by listening to your questions and concerns, and educating you on how to promote a healthy lifestyle for the entire family.
We want to thank you for choosing Northampton Area Pediatrics for your child’s medical care. For questions or to schedule a visit, contact our office today!
Flu clinic days are now posted. See side above for link! Please call Monday through Friday to schedule.
NAP is open 365 days of the year. On holidays and weekends, our office does not have morning walk-in hours. Please call our office at 413-584-8700 to schedule an urgent care appointment. See side bar for hours.
Life doesn't slow down just because school is winding down. Many children are off to camp or getting ready for the upcoming school year. Our staff is working hard to fulfil your form requests. PLEASE ALLOW UP TO ONE WEEK FOR US TO COMPLETE CAMP AND SCHOOL FORMS. Thank you!
Urgent Care Reminder!
We wanted to remind all of our families at Northampton Area Pediatrics that we continue to be available around the clock for your children’s care. We know that kids don’t just get sick between 9 and 5 on weekdays. We know that it always seems to be Friday night when your toddler starts complaining that his ear hurts. Saturday and Sunday afternoons are prime times for kids to sprain their knees at soccer practice, or to need stitches after falling off their bike. For decades, NAP has been open every day of the year (including holidays), with extended evening and weekend hours, specifically to serve our families’ needs. If your child has an urgent medical need, call our office at 413-584-8700 to talk with a pediatric professional who knows your child and who can see you right away.
Walk In Hours
We have designated 8:00am to 8:30 am Monday through Friday as the "walk-in" time in both of our offices. If your child becomes ill overnight or his/her condition changes and you would like him/her to be seen, you can come to either of our offices without an appointment and be seen first thing in the morning.
